New Light on Old Bones Artist Research Project

NLOB has recently teamed up with Creativity Works — a consortium consisting of Pennine Lancashire Arts Officers, Arts Council North West, Lancashire County Council, Creative Lancashire, Elevate, and Curious Minds — to create a community based opportunity for an artist to work alongside me, NLOB’s researcher, creatively enhancing, challenging and exploring the project’s potentials and the natural history collections at Rossendale Museum.

It is a fabulous opportunity for me to work closely with someone who could bring refreshingly new perspectives to such collections and we are looking for an artist who has experience in working in such collaborations as well as an interest in process led work. For more information see the full artists brief here: http://newlightonoldbones.wordpress.com

The deadline for applications is 28th June 2010, with the interviews taking place on Friday 2nd July. If you have any queries please email Laura Rodgers of Creativity Works laura.rodgers@blackburn.gov.uk.
